Day one of Tess Loz and Chris Adventures - Cross the border into swaziland. Not so easy with a hire car we found out after a couple of hours of paperwork dramas! Headed to a backpackers that night in a game reserve and played some pool with the rangers who sang and danced to swazi music around the table .
Day 2 - White water Rafting and tubing...went on the Usutu river which is currently a grade 3. Was pretty tame during the rafting but Grade 3 rapids on a tube was pretty scary! Took an underwater camera so watch this space for more pics.

Day 3 - Jozini and Hippo hunting!
We camped on the edge of a dam infested with hippos and crocs...needless to say the two scared Aussies didnt get much sleep! So to make it more horrific we then went in a dingy LOOKING for hippos! one could have eaten the boat in one bite!
We survived and then pushed on towards the coast of south africa right on the Mozam border called Kosie bay. This is rural africa and very poor, with AIDS rates greater than 35%! Was crappy weather so we got some beer and pulled up a seat beside the shop.
Day 4 - Kosi Bay and back to JoBurg
We stayed with Meg's who works at the local hposital in Mangusi - the shack in the picture above is a rural medical clinic! Armed with some great tour guides we hiked down to the beach which actually joins SA and Mozam. There is a four lake system that joins the sea which is set with lots of fish traps by the local people. isolation!
